Kids will love Terra Natura Murcia

If you’re planning on being in the Murcia area some time this year and will be there with your children, you might be wondering if there are some fun things to do for kids. Luckily, with so many things to do in Murcia, you might actually find you don’t have enough time to do everything. Here are just a few things that you might call the best things to do in Murcia, Spain with children — or at least, some of them.

Terra Natura Murcia – Kids will absolutely love Terra Natura Murcia as it’s one of the best animal parks in all of Europe. Here, you and your children can see more than 50 species of animals, all in their own private habitat. From monkeys to lions, giraffes to rhinoceros, wolves to exotic birds and boa constrictors.

There’s a Falconry Zone, a Sea Lion Show and, of course, the Aqua Natura waterpark — the best place in the Murcia area on a hot summer’s day. There’s so much to do here, the kids will have an awesome day out at Terra Natura Murcia. In fact, Mum and Dad will too.

You can find out more about Terra Natura at their website, including opening hours and ticket prices, as well as how to get there.

La Manga Go Kart — Another of the best things to do in Murcia with children is to spend a few hours go karting. Whether you have boys, girls or both, they’ll love a few hours at La Manga Go Kart just about a 30 minute drive outside town.

There are three Go Kart tracks, split into age and driving experience so everyone is completely safe, and a variety of Go Karts to choose from. The center also has a professional kart racing track where adult drivers can hire one of five professional go karts to drive.

The track even has professional races going on throughout the year. If you go on a day where there’s a professional race going on, you’ll have a lot of fun but do remember there will be large crowds.

There’s also a games zone with a bouncy castle, billiards, video games and trampolines, as well as a sit-down restaurant, a cafe and a snack bar. With all of this going on, La Manga Go Kart is perfectly suitable for little kids, teens and adults.

You can get more information about La Manga Go Kart on their website — just be sure to use the translation box at the bottom for a (somewhat) English version.

Casa La Pedrera – Casa La Pedrera is definitely one of the best places to go with children in Murcia if they love to do things outside, as there’s just so much to do here.

It’s an outdoor activity center that offers things like horse riding for adults and teens and pony trekking for the little kids, quad bike riding, mountain biking, canoeing, archery, fishing and water skiing, all in a gorgeous country area located right on the shores of a large reservoir. The property also has a swimming pool and a cafe for casual meals and snacks.

Casa La Pedrera also has activities going on for special occasions throughout the year. A haunted hay ride for Halloween, a fireworks display, barbecues and even live evening entertainment. You can enjoy an entire day’s activities here and your kids will never get bored. They’re also open all year round, except for Christmas and New Year.

Just be aware you will pay per activity, which means you might want to decide what you’re going to do before you get there, so your day doesn’t end up being too pricey if the kids suddenly decide they want to do everything.
