One of the most fun tours in Barcelona, Spain is the Tapas Tour. A two to three hour tour, depending which tour company you go with, the Barcelona Tapas Tour introduces you to the famous Spanish bar snacks, while walking through Barcelona’s most famous areas and learning something about Barcelona cafes and, of course, about this amazing city itself.

On a Barcelona Tapas Tour, you’ll usually meet at Las Ramblas, and then head to La Boqueria, Barcelona’s well-known food market. After a tour of the market, where you’ll be introduced to some of Spain’s traditional foods, you’ll stop off at a restaurant for a glass of wine and some tapas.

The tour continues with a walk through the Gothic Quarter, with its beautiful architecture and superb atmosphere then, on to a final restaurant, where you’ll eat more delicious tapas and drink more wine (or beer, if that’s what you prefer).

Other tours will take you to three or four different tapas bars and cafes and even finish up with a piece of cake and a cafe con leche.

The Tapas Tour includes the English-speaking guide, at least 6-7 types of tapas, and a couple of glasses of wine or beer. For between €42-58, you get a great walking tour, meet new people and taste delicious food and drink.

Barcelona Tapas Tours tend to run in the last afternoon (5pm) or early evening.
