On a holiday to Magaluf (Magalluf) you might be surprised at just how many good restaurants there are. Of course, there are the usual British eateries as, just like anywhere in Spain, Magaluf is full of Brits. But, you’ll also find Mexican, Italian, Chinese and American restaurants, as well as many serving superb Spanish cuisine.
On a trip to Magaluf, eat out at as many restaurants as you can but be sure to try these few first. They truly are wonderful.
Robinson Crusoe’s – Probably the most famous restaurant and bar in Magalluf, Robinson Crusoe’s overlooks Magaluf Bay and serves some of the best chilled beer in town. The food is wonderful too.
Of course, it’s upscale so not cheap, and there’s always a huge line, but if you want the true Magaluf experience, dining at Robinson Crusoe’s is a must. It’s cool for the cute beach hut-style atmosphere too.
And, if breakfast is your thing, Robinson Crusoe’s serves one of the best in town.
Los Caracoles – Another Magaluf favorite, Los Caracoles is known for its superb lamb dishes, its signature dish of snails cooked in a firey sauce, and stupendous seafood.
Of course, many tourists find their way here but Los Caracoles is also an authentic Spanish hangout serving authentic Spanish cuisine and, as it’s slightly off the tourist trail, it doesn’t feel cheesy like so many other Magaluf restaurants.
The Boatyard – They serve a wonderful Sunday lunch (succulent roast beef and Yorkshire pudding), awesome all-day breakfasts, and as its right on the water, the atmosphere is cool too. Beers are a bit expensive but, if you’re on holiday, you probably won’t worry about that.
Mariachi’s Mexican Restaurant – Looking for some good Mexican fare? Then Mariachi’s should hit the spot.
Dishes are spicy, their tequila-based drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is purely Mexican. Nice staff too.
Restaurante Chino – Since they opened almost 30 years ago, Restaurante Chino has served the best Chinese food in Magaluf. So much so, they win just about every award in that category in local food competitions. Traditional Chinese food, inexpensive prices and a relaxed atmosphere
