Spanish sangria is one of my favorite drinks – ever. I drink it all the time. And, when I am not in Spain, I make Spanish sangria several times a week as there is nothing like a drink from home.
If you too would like to know how to make Spanish sangria, honestly, it is incredibly easy. Plus, you can use just about any red wine (although I always use Spanish red wine as I think it’s the best), so you can make it cheaply as well.
All you need is a bottle of red wine, a bottle of carbonated water or a soft drink like 7-Up or fizzy orange juice, rum, gin and vodka (as much or as little as you want, depending on your taste), your choice of fresh fruits chopped up and ready to drop into a carafe or pitcher of sangria, orange peel, and sugar.
You can also add a stick of cinnamon if you like, although I tend to leave that out as I am not a huge cinnamon fan.
Watch the video below to watch how to easily make sangria, even when you are not in Spain. Easy, right?
