Zen Market: The Best Restaurant at Real Madrid’s Estadio Santiago Bernabéu (Video)

If you’re going to a Real Madrid football game or just want to visit the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu — the Real Madrid football stadium —  do not miss eating lunch or dinner at Zen Market.  It’s one of Madrid’s newer restaurants, but serves some of the best Chinese and Japanese food in the city. It’s also a pure delight to eat at as, not only is it massive — it seats over 300 people — but the balcony tables look out over the football field – perfect if you want to watch a Real Madrid game while you’re eating.

Zen Market is beautifully designed in a contemporary Asian theme, has a gorgeous lounge area and bar and plays excellent music. The waiters are lovely and friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful.

What’s even more wonderful about Zen Market, though, other than the views and atmosphere, are the many set meals you can order. With prices of around 35-65 euros per person, (lunch is obviously the cheapest) these are the best deals in the restaurant as you get  six or seven courses  which include soup, noodles, sushi and tempura. I’d highly recommend the menu with the tuna tartare, as it truly is delicious.

As Zen Market is one of the most popular restaurants in Madrid at the moment, reservations are recommended. Especially on game day. Be sure to call at least a week in advance to ensure a booking and show up on time, just in case they give your table to someone else.

Zen Market is on the third floor of the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. You’ll find it through door number 20. The address is Avenida Concha Espina, 1, 28036 Madrid.  The easiest way to make reservations is online through The Fork.
