As Spain is one of the world’s most beautiful countries, and Spaniards have such a sense of the dramatic, you often find strange, unique and amazing things tucked away in little corners all over Spain.
That’s why we started a segment called “Featured Photos” recently, where we can showcase any photos we find online that are truly wonderful — and that show off Spain in its absolute best light.
This one is a wonderful photograph taken by Arjan Richter at the Fast Bar in Principe Pío Station in Madrid. The Fast Bar is in various stations and airports around Spain and is a wonderful idea, as it allows you to have a quick snack or a drink before boarding a plane or getting on an airplane.
We simply love the colors in this photograph and the way the bar stands out against the background of the train station. Just lovely.
