Lightning and storms in Spain are quite spectacular, particularly when you get them close to the ocean, as the air crackles mercilessly and the colors tend to be vibrant and wild.
This wonderful photo is of a storm over Portonovo in Galicia, Spain.
Look at how the photographer has taken the photograph right as the lightning comes straight down — in no less than 3 strikes. Add into it the many hues of deep blue of the ocean, with the town just in the distance with the lighting poised right over it, and you don’t get much more dramatic weather than this.
